Der Pool ist schön groß. Er ist zwar nicht beheizt, aber im August eine wunderbare Abkühlung. Der Essbereich außen ist sehr geräumig und mit einem Gasgrill, also nicht ideal für Liebhaber von Kohlegrills, und einem kleinen Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Es gibt draußen wie auch in der kleinen Küche drinnen genügend Utensilien, um zu kochen und grillen. Auch die Essbereiche auf der Terasse und im Haus sind sehr geräumig. Außerdem gibt es im Ort Vižinada, den man zu Fuß schnell erreichen kann, zwei kleine Supermärkte mit dem Nötigsten. Einer davon ist auch am Sonntag bis 13 Uhr geöffnet. Das Haus liegt direkt an dem Parenzana Radweg, zudem gibt es mehrere Fahrradtouren und Wandertouren, die vom Haus weg zu starten sind. Informationen dazu gibt es auf Infotafeln und im Internet. Besonders sehenswert in der Umgebung: Motovun, Novigrad (mit schönen Stränden) und die Baredine Höhle. Innen ist es ein ordentliches Bauernhaus, das gerade wenn es heißer ist, angenehm kühl ist, und das mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man brauchen könnte. Die Kommunikation lief etwas einseitig ab, was daran liegt, dass Einheimische vor Ort die Ansprechpersonen waren und nur einmal kurz vorbeigeschaut haben, auf Nachrichten aber nicht wirklich geantwortet haben. Trotzdem hat alles gut geklappt! Die überdachte Outdoorküche mit großen Grill und Esstisch war ein großes Highlight. Leider war zu unserer Zeit der Whirlpool defekt und die Poolpumpe funktionierte nur von 7-20 Uhr. The house itself is also really nice. The bedroom on the ground floor is a little damp, but was kept reasonably dry by a dehumidifier. Great views from the terrace of the house too. And nice area for walking and jogging. The house is spacious and beautiful and very comfortable. The pool and outside dining area were lovely - complete with well stocked cupboards to save having to bring plates/cutlery etc from the main house. Mini fridge too to store drinks! Stunning views and walking distance under 10 minutes to Vizinada. The personal wine tasting experience was wonderful too! Villa Bošket is located near the small, tranquil village of Vižinada high above the Mirna valley. Nestled in vineyards, olive groves, meadows and forests, the villa is enthroned on a small hill. From here you have a breathtaking panoramic view over the fertile, green Mirna valley all the way to the hilltop village of Motovun.
On the ground floor of the 230 m² house, in addition to the living and dining area, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, and another bathroom. On the first floor there are 3 more bedrooms, two of them with a double bed, the third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower/WC, or bathtub/WC.

Your children are also well catered for: on the property there is also a small playground with swing, slide and trampoline. So you can relax by the large pool with jacuzzi and enjoy the sun.

By the way: The host is known beyond the region for his excellent wines and olive oils. Your host will be happy to offer you wine tastings in his wine cellar or guided tours through his vineyards. A wine tasting is of course included!

For cycling enthusiasts, 4 bicycles are available, with which you can do your shopping in the village or explore the surroundings. The most famous cycle path in Istria, the Parenzana, passes directly below the house. It runs along the old railway line from Trieste to Poreč. Numerous viaducts and tunnels make this route a special experience. The section from Vižinada via Motovun and Livade to Grožnjan (approx. 36 km, ascent approx. 280 m) is particularly recommended.

Vižinada

Gorgeous views of vineyards and small mountain villages are guaranteed in this region. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can experience the real Istria. Explore the countryside by bike, discover the fine wines in one of the many wineries or enjoy local specialities made with local ingredients in an agroturizam. The region is known far beyond its borders for its excellent wines and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
Vižinada is also an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding picturesque mountain villages such as Motovun and Grožnjan.
