The pictures shown in Airbnb are a dream but the dream really comes true when you arrive at Casa Milic! It is all brand new, furnished very stylish and with passion for details. You really feel comfortable from the first second and we loved how easy it was to start relaxed holidays. The outdoor area is simply amazing. We used pool and outdoor kitchen a lot and loved to hang out in the lounge in the shade. Nevertheless, it got never boring as we had table tennis and table soccer in the outdoor area as well as a BBQ. What I really want to emphasize is that the owner thought of everything you might need: So there were always enough glasses, plates, chairs and cuttlery for such a big group. But they also provided candles against the mosquitos, washing powder for the laundry and a lot of towles for the bathroom and pool. The house is situated in a very small village. So you do have neigbours but from the pool area you also have sea view and a really romantic sunset nearly every evening. Thank you for the nice holidays! We did not want to leave and would have definitely stayed longer if it would have been possible! The crystal clear water of the pool gave us a cool refreshment every day while we enjoyed the pleasant Istrian weather. After a relaxing trip to the wonderful beaches nearby we prepared delicious barbecues in the well equipped outdoor kitchen accompanied by a cozy fireplace. Each dormatory offers a separate bathroom and the laundry rooms gave us the opportunity to wash our clothes and also provided an extra toilette and showers. Another highlight of villa Milic is the wide ranging overlook over the Adrian sea and watching the red sunset. The host had every need in mind and took care of our individual wishes and provided us with a clean and lovely decorated Interieur. We also appreciated the offer of our host to clean the house and the pool once a week free of charge. The villa is located in a countryside area which invites you to follow your morning running routine. Nevertheless, well sorted and extensively stocked supermarkets, historic cities worth a trip and local authentic restaurants are easily to reach by car in under 30 minutes. To put it in a nutshell, villa Milic and the host gave us two weeks full of unforgettable memories. And even more of it. We didn't know in advance that there was a bathroom and a shower on the ground floor and that there was another toilet and a separate shower next to the outdoor kitchen. We (six adults, three children) were and are very enthusiastic about the house. For most of us it was our first experience with AirBnb and we were not disappointed, on the contrary. The communication and helpfulness of the hostess is excellent. I can't think of anything negative about the house. The pool is a great size so you can swim and play. The location of the city is a bit out of the way but you know that beforehand and that was not a problem for us. We did two big shopping trips and went to a restaurant in the area several times in the evening. The property was spotlessly clean both indoors and outdoors. My boys loved the ping pong table and outdoor lounging areas and we all appreciated the large dining area and bedrooms. The pool was comfortable and there were 6 chaise loungers with pool towels. Probably my favorite thing about her property was all of the interesting plants and flowers. The villa is in a small village, which is quiet but the nearest grocery was probably 15 minutes. That didn't bother us because we're planners and we liked being in the center of the peninsula; it was easy to go to Pula, Rovinj, Porec, etc. If we go back to Istria, I would stay in Christine's place again. She got us reservations for a restaurant, Mrgani 42 (amazing food!) on the first night and gave us tips for the area. I usually go through a place and clean with Clorox wipes when I arrive, but the house is very clean and we felt at home right away. The salt water pool and outdoor area is amazing. The house is very well-stocked and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Complimentary wine and beer was also available. Das Haus, die Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Beim Buchen sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass die Villa recht weit außerhalb liegt. Zu den Stränden zwischen Porec und Rovinj fährt man ca. 30 Minuten. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls nicht fußläufig, aber ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Als Base nach den Ausflügen oder auch für Pooltage ist die Villa aber einfach fantastisch! Wir waren von Anfang an begeistert und kamen aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus. Alle Räume sind blitzeblank sauber geputzt. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. wir hatten vergebens Spielsachen für unsere Kinder mitgenommen, da es eine riesen grosse Auswahl an Spielsachen für Kinder in jedem Alter vorhanden hat. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Gästekorb gefüllt mit Kaffee, Öl und vielen mehr! Im Kühlschrank wartete auch schon gekühlter Wein und Bier auf uns. Villa Milić Barat 17, Kanfanar, Istria, 52352, Croatia 0049 (0)631 4162689 240.00 € - 500.00 € 10 10 Das Haus ist wirklich fantastisch und der Service ebenfalls! 06.07.2024 - Wir kamen an und haben eine Hausführung mit sehr netten Hinweisen bekommen, der Kühlschrank war bereits mit Getränken gefüllt und es gab ein Körbchen mit vielen Dingen, die man in einem Ferienhaus sehr gut gebrauchen kann (Kaffee, Öl, Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer, Pralinen...). Alles ist wahnsinnig gut durchdacht - von der Eiswürfelmaschine bis zu Mückenlichtern und Fliegengittern, Holz und Kohle für den Grill, ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht! Es gab ein kleines Problem mit dem Pool (die Pumpe ist aufgrund eines Stromausfalls nicht wieder angegangen), es wurde sofort reagiert und das Problem behoben, wirklich toller Service und richtig gute Kommunikation. Der Pool war für die Kinder das Highlight und da es sich um eines Salzwasserpool handelt, war es auch überhaupt kein Problem, den ganzen Tag im Wasser zu verbringen. Fazit: Ganz herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! There are 2 more bathrooms/showers on the ground floor. The outdoor kitchen is fantastic. The house is quietly located in a village. Do keep in mind that you have to drive some km to get to a small grocery shop. The house was spotless when we arrived. The local host, Vlasta, is very friendly and responsive via text messages in English. The kitchen is well equipped. Also well furnished and nicely decorated. Good air conditioning everywhere. And it smells nice everywhere in the house. Good location for various visits in the region. From the upper terrace you can spot the sea in the distance and see the sunset. Die Sauberkeit war bisher das Beste was wir jemals in einem Ferienhaus hatten. Der Salzwasserpool und die gesamte Außenanlage ist super. In der Villa fehlt es an nichts. Four gorgeous bedrooms with modern bathrooms. Our favorite place was the outdoor kitchen. We spent pretty much every evening there, cooking, eating, drinking – just outstanding. There were lots of toys for the little ones too. The pool was great, clean, and wonderful for cooling off and swimming a few laps. What else can we say? Die Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll. Alles war Tipptopp sauber. An Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, die Bäder groß und modern. Der Pool war herrlich und überaus sauber. Im Außenbereich waren auch eine Dusche und ein WC. Natürlich genau so toll. Die Aussenküche mit Kamingrill war gut ausgestattet. Alles in allem Perfekt.

Rental terms

Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, a deposit of 20% of the rental price is due within 10 days. The booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 42 days before the day of arrival. However, the deposit up to a maximum of € 100.00 will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation up to 21 days before arrival, 50% of the rental price is due, from 20 days before the start of the booking the full rental price is due. If the property can be re-let during the booked period, 80% of the rental price will be refunded. In the event of early departure, there is no entitlement to a refund of the remaining rent.
Security deposit (payable in cash on arrival): 500 EUR

28.08.2025 - One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. It’s even better than the pictures and had everything we needed. We used the outside BBQ almost every night. The hosts were great in making sure we had cots and high chairs for the toddlers. Would absolutely recommend.

05.08.2025 - Wenn ich 6 oder mehr Punkte vergeben könnte würde ich es tun. Tolles, fast luxuriöses Haus mit Liebe zum Detail. Sehr schönes Pool , tolle Outdoor Küche , Grill. Schlafzimmer sehr nett eingerichtet gute Betten. Badezimmer perfekt. Alles extrem sauber. Kinderfreundlich - ruhige Lage - natürlich abseits vom Trubel - man braucht ca 40 Min. nach Rovinj - gute Kommunikation mit den Vermieter - sehr netter Kontakt - gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis.

30.07.2025 - We travelled with two families and everyone loved being in the house. Lovely bedrooms with private bathrooms, great kitchen facilities inside and out and not least a fantastic pool. Great communication with Christine via app and great contact with Vlastra/ Petra on site. We have only the very best recommendations

06.07.2025 - Hatten zu siebt einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in einer wunderschönen Villa. Die Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll. Alles war Tipptopp sauber. An Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, die Bäder groß und modern. Der Pool war herrlich und überaus sauber. Im Außenbereich waren auch eine Dusche und ein WC. Natürlich genau so toll. Die Aussenküche mit Kamingrill war gut ausgestattet. Alles in allem Perfekt.

13.07.2025 - Die Ausstattung und der Service sind 10/10 und absolut empfehlenswert, es mangelt an nichts. Die Lage des Dörfchen Barats ist abseits und in ruhiger Umgebung, was natürlich immer mindestens 10-20 Minuten Autofahrt bedeutet um Einkaufen oder ans Meer zu gehen. Der super Pool macht das aber wieder gut.

28.06.2025 - The house is beautiful, spacious, and spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils we needed. The pool area was excellent, with a large saltwater pool that we really enjoyed. The playroom with table tennis and the foosball game was a big hit and added lots of fun to our stay. Highly recommended!

07.06.2025 - This was by far the nicest place we've ever stayed at on Airbnb - and we've had some really nice ones. A place just as beautiful as the pictures show. A very modern yet cozy house. Designed and furnished with great attention to detail. And we mean every little detail. Four gorgeous bedrooms with modern bathrooms. Our favorite place was the outdoor kitchen. We spent pretty much every evening there, cooking, eating, drinking – just outstanding. There were lots of toys for the little ones too. The pool was great, clean, and wonderful for cooling off and swimming a few laps. What else can we say? For anyone who doesn't necessarily need the ocean on their doorstep but still wants to have a great time in Croatia – this is the place to be.

17.08.2024 - Wir hatten wundervolle 14 Tage in der Villa Milic. Die Sauberkeit war bisher das Beste was wir jemals in einem Ferienhaus hatten. Der Salzwasserpool und die gesamte Außenanlage ist super. In der Villa fehlt es an nichts. Die Bilder zeigen 1:1 die Realität. Und falls doch mal was fehlte hat Vlasta superschnell writergeholfen. Vielen Dank an Familie Milic für die tolle Betreuung!
