This subterranean world was already explored in ancient times and is now open to visitors with its impressively shaped sculptures of stalactites and stalagmites. A good 40-minute guided tour through the 5 halls of the cave leads past bizarre and abstract stalactite forms down to the 30-metre-deep bottom lake. In summer, the cave also provides a pleasant cooling with a constant temperature of 14°.
In recent years, the offer has been supplemented by a tractor exhibition with more than 50 vintage cars, a worthwhile exhibition on the subject of bread, olive oil and wine, as well as cave climbing courses.
